Care is more than a feeling.
Care requires time, labor, attention, trust, resources, communication, and structure.
Too often, care remains invisible until someone reaches a crisis. People are expected to manage their work, health, relationships, responsibilities, and needs privately — even while living among others who may have exactly the knowledge, capacity, or resource that could help.
The Co. explores another way: making needs and offers more visible, helping resources circulate, creating reciprocal relationships, and building structures through which people can contribute and receive without anyone being expected to carry everything alone.
We are not trying to create dependence or erase personal responsibility. We are creating more ways to meet one another with honesty, dignity, reciprocity, and practical support.

Founder-led and participatory.
The Co. is initiated, architected, and led by Nicole Franco, who leads as founder and president during the founding phase. A council will form over time to support stewardship, participation, care, and shared governance as the community matures.
